The pollen parent is in the first picture, while the seed parent is in the second picture. The pollen parent has dark (almost black) emergent leaves and intense veins characteristic of the Carlablackiae. The seed parent (mother plant) is a pure Papillilaminum, cultivated by @tujuanbumi and nicknamed “X-One” sharp shape. I discovered its variegation when it got older, as it displayed a metallic variegation that is very intense in emergent leaves, and it becomes more subtle as it hardens off. After a few weeks of hardening off, the color returns to the dark, velvety green that we love about Papillilaminum. The variegation of the mother plant seems to be a dominant trait, as I have seen it manifest in a lot of seedlings, especially bigger ones.

- For high value plants, I highly recommend upgraded shipping. During the summer and winter months faster shipping will reduce the likelihood of heat and cold damage.
- If there are any other issues after delivery, please contact me WITHIN 4 hours of delivery with a picture of the plant and an unboxing video.
